Terms & Conditions – Care App (Egypt)

By using Care App and its related services (“Services”), you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
1) Our Services:
Care App enables healthcare-related services such as booking appointments (clinic/online), in-app chat, electronic prescriptions (where available), lab tests and scans requests/results (if enabled), insurance support (if applicable), and customer support. Some features may be limited to certain providers, locations, or pilot phases.
2) Medical Disclaimer:
Care App does not provide emergency services. If you have an emergency, call local emergency services or visit the nearest hospital. Information shared in the app is not a substitute for professional medical examination. Diagnosis and treatment decisions remain the responsibility of licensed healthcare providers.
3) Accounts & Eligibility:
You are responsible for providing accurate information and keeping your login credentials confidential. You must be at least [18] years old, or use the Services under a parent/guardian’s supervision as required by law.
4) Appointments:
Appointments are subject to provider availability and confirmation. You are responsible for attending on time. Providers may reschedule or cancel when necessary.
5) Payments (If Applicable):
If online payment or service fees are enabled, you agree to pay applicable fees and taxes. Payments may be processed by third-party payment providers. Care App is not responsible for bank or payment-provider errors.
6) Cancellations & Refunds (If Applicable):
Cancellation and refund eligibility may depend on the provider’s policies and timing. Where refunds apply, processing times may vary. No-show or late cancellations may result in fees where applicable.
7) User Content (Messages & Uploads):
You may upload or share content such as messages, prescriptions, lab results, or scans. You confirm you have the right to share it and that it is accurate to the best of your knowledge. You grant us a limited license to use such content only to deliver the Services.
8) Prohibited Use:
You agree not to misuse the Services, including: unlawful activity, harassment, false information, impersonation, unauthorized access, interference with the app, or uploading malicious content.
9) Intellectual Property:
The app, branding, and content (excluding your content) belong to Care App or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the Services without written permission.
10) Service Changes & Availability:
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.
11) Termination:
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the Services, or create security/legal risks. You may stop using the Services at any time.
12) Limitation of Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Care App is not liable for indirect losses, provider decisions, medical outcomes, delays, cancellations, or third-party service issues. Our total liability, if any, is limited to the amount you paid to us through the app in the last [3] months (if applicable).
13) Privacy:
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
14) Governing Law:
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Arab Republic of Egypt. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts in [Cairo], unless applicable law requires otherwise.
